The cards will be ranked in the typical order, from Ace being the highest to 2 being the lowest. The usual actions, containing Blind, Chaal, and Show, are also included. The ranking of the cards from the highest to the lowest will be as follows, Trail or Set (three cards of the same rank), Pure Sequence (straight flush or run), Sequence (straight or run), Color (flush), Pair (two cards of the same rank) and High Card. Never forget to practice with different players on Teenpatti Vungo before entering the variations below.
Variations of Teen Patti
I. Mufliss
Mufliss, also known as Lowball, is the reversed version of the standard Teen Patti. The ranking of hands is reversed in a way that the worst card, High Card becomes the strongest set while the best card, Trial or Set becomes the worst. In the case where two players have the same hand, the one with the lowest card will win.
II. 999
In 999, the players will aim to get as close to the number 999 as possible in order to become the winner. In this game, the card suit is irrelevant, and all face cards will be translated into a specific number. A will become 1, 2 to 9 will remain the same value, while K, Q, J, and 10 will become zero. For example, if a player gets the cards A, 4, and 5, the number will be 145. The players can freely change the sequence of the cards to make it closer to 999. In this case, the final number will become 541.
III. Sudden Death
To start this game, the dealer will first shuffle and distribute a standard 52-card deck equally to all players. For instance, in a game of four players, each of them will get 13 cards. Each player will hold the cards between the ring finger and the thumb and drop the cards until one of the players shouts stop. From the remaining cards in the hand, the player will get to choose the card with the highest value. The player who has the highest cards will win the game.
IV. Discard One
In this game, the dealer will deal four cards instead of three. The player will pick the best three cards in hand and drop the remaining one. Since all players will get the chance to view their own cards, they must play Chaal. Apart from this rule, all other instructions from Teen Patti remain unchanged.
V. Rotating Jokers
The dealer will deal three cards as usual. An open card and two closed cards will be placed in front of all players. The open card will become the private joker card for all players, meaning that this card can carry any value the players wish. When a player folds, his open card will become a joker for all other players. However, if this happens, the players are prohibited from using their own joker card. Similarly, when the next player folds, his open card will become the new joker. All other rules will remain the same. Finally, the player with the highest card will win.
